Last Saturday we held a training session event for builders who wanted to master the art of working with structural steel.

The main purpose of the event is to cover theory and good practices for builders who work with structural steel on their projects. Our event covered:

• knowledge of UK structural steel sections
• measuring for steelwork
• details included in quotations
• detailing software used for structural steel modelling
• CE quality requirements.

As an addition, this Saturday we had a Q & A session with a special guest – structural engineer Jakub Nowikowski from Pole Structural Engineers.

Event attendees had a chance to see the semi-automated production line, 3D printing robot and volunteers tried their skills in our welding bays.
